Welcome to episode 78 of the show! Tika returns from her extended vacation to share tales of travel and the Darkspear rebellion! After sharing our weeks which include abandoned farms, PvP adventures and internet usage caps we jump into a lively discussion on Blizzard’s plans to “fuse” specific realms as a fix for the low population problem. Their numbers are low but does everyone share the opinion that there is a problem? And is this the best way to address it for the player or for is it all about the numbers? We ask you with a poll on hordeforlife.com.
Other discussion includes the introduction of proving grounds as an upgrade to training dummies, Blizzard expansion logic, PvP battlegroup advice (snicker), classic servers and we are asked if LFR hurts normal and heroic raiding.

Horde for Life Poll: Do You Want Real Money Transactions in WoW (EU/US)?
Judging by the sheer amount of emails I have received in just a few short days since the PTR announcement that 5.4 will include an in game store for Asian servers, this poll should be pretty active and is a hot button type of topic.
So we are not going to cloud it up with lots of “gray area” options; you either want real money transactions for EU/US realms in the form of an in game store to include “game enhancing” items such as charms and XP boosts because you feel time is also a currency or you do not.

What a fun show we had this week. Rich’s error in double booking guests actually worked out really well as Josh James and Ben Novak joined Rich and Dustin to talk about one of the single most controversial and perhaps landscape changing new items in sometime is announced by Blizzard.
Yes we speak of the in game store and if our poll at hordeforlife.com, twitter and the myriad of forums are any indication, we have just started having this conversation. Tell us your thoughts as we have some lively debate and speculation on what the store means for the game, the industry and the fanbase. Listen in as we inject our Blue Sky formula into this hot topic by talking about what could be and making both a case for and against the this real money tranaction system.
Oh and then there was this little… OK huge prediction; Rich seems to think he is rock solid 100 percent certain what Titan is, will be and how it impacts the World of Warcraft. You do not want to miss this if only to flame him if he is wrong. But you will definitely want to say you heard it first hand if he is right.

HFL Interviews Marco Koegler August 20th
The Horde for Life crew are very excited to welcome Blizzard Entertainment Technical Director Marco Koegler to the podcast next Tuesday, August 20 for what promises to be a very “Blue Sky” episode. Marco has been gracious enough to lend us some interview time to discuss such topics as the upcoming patch 5.4 and more specifically some new functionality coming to Azeroth in the form of Connected Realms. We also hope to get a behind the scenes glance at the evolution of the systems and tech that keep this game look so great for so long.
And yes… of course we will ask him his preferred faction to play as he repeatedly burns Scarlet Monastery to the ground!
